I Can't Believe She's Five! March 2009

Ady had her 5th birthday this year. She is getting so old too quick! For her birthday she had a tea party with her friends. The next day we had family over for cake and ice cream.

Thousand Springs- March 2009

It was a beautiful day so we took a trip to Thousand Springs to fish and play. Masi came along in hopes that we would ride horses at Grandma Sue and Grandpa John's house. She didn't get to this trip, but she still had fun playing with Ady and Hayden.

Dinosaur park

Dinosaur Park- March 2009

For Spring Break we took the kids to Dinosaur Park in Utah. They got to see real dinosaur bones and life size replicas of dinosaurs. After they decided the dinosaurs weren't real, they really enjoyed walking through and playing at the park.

At the Aquarium- March 2009

For Spring Break this year we took the kids to the aquarium in Salt Lake. They had a blast seeing all the different fish. Hayden really liked the jellyfish and Ady spent a lot of time at the sharks. They enjoyed themselves so much that after we had gone through the aquarium once they wanted to go again...so we did! Richard even got to pet a stingray!

Monster Truck Show

When the monster truck show came to Holt Arena, Richard thought he had better take Hayden since Hayden loves cars and trucks so much. They had a great time. It was all Hayden talked about for the next two weeks.

NASCAR

Anyone who knows Richard knows he is a BIG NASCAR fan. He was so excited to take Hayden to see the Home Depot car when it came to town. The kids (and their dad) enjoyed looking inside the car and seeing it up close. Hayden had to have a matchbox car after seeing the real one. It is now his favorite car to see on tv.

Last Day of School- May 28, 2009

Lori and Ady had their last day of school. The parent committee put on a fun day for the kids. Ady enjoyed hanging out with her cousin, Masi. Hayden came to school with us this day. He enjoyed the bubble station. In fact, at one point he was all the way in the bubble tub!

Twin Lakes- June 13, 2009

We took the kids to Twin Lakes for free fishing day. It was raining (imagine that) when we got there, but soon stopped. We had a barbeque lunch and the kids played in the water. Richard spent the day getting crankier and crankier that he couldn't catch a fish. He finally caught a couple and the kids thought it was fun to reel them in. Ady and Hayden played in the water until they were freezing and we decided we had better take them home.
